  In February 2015 I was offered a small Sony camcorder for a “cheap carnival price” 40 euros. I did not have any good opportunity to keep the camera in my hand and look at it carefully. The sales rep hold it and talked al lot. I saw a pile of Sony camera boxes behind the sales guy, and I saw the text that it should be a HD camera. I thought why not, and paid 40 euros with my Visa card. Then the sales rep said at it takes 20 minutes for him to get a camera box from a store room behind. Meanwhile another sales rep told me that the camera was an old model, and recommended to buy a newer Sharp camcorder. He showed on a TV that the camcorder he had bought was nearly useless. After a couple minutes I wanted to cancel the transaction because the whole act showed pure dishonesty, but the sales rep refused. He said to me in bad English: “You are crazy”. I left the shop without any camcorder, and afterwards reclaimed Visa.

  My friend was offered a Sony camera he should get cheap. I told him not to buy it, but thought that 40 euros was an OK price. He should get English instructions and a beer in 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile he could talk to another sales rep. He told that the camera was an old model (it looked old, too), and recommended to buy a newer Sharp camcorder. This was priced at 800 euros, but he should get 40% discount. I told him that the brand Sharpixels is not the same as Sharp, but he still claimed it was Sharp. He showed on a TV that the camcorder he had bought was useless: it need light, battery charger, memory card, cords. The Sharpixels camcorder should include everything except memory cord. After half an hour (and no beer) we asked about the instructions for the useless camera. Well, they had to bring it from Las Palmas. That might take one hour - maybe five! Meanwhile my friend was persuaded to but the Sharpixel for 100 euros. The battery life is approximately 5 minutes, and the software is not working correctly, and the camcorder appears to be plastic. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO SHOP IN FOTO DALLAS!!!!!!
